Eco Max

Eco Max grew from Australian founder Kim Good’s travels through Sri Lanka, where she discovered the natural coconut-fiber scrubbers traditionally used in local homes. Inspired by the durability of the material and its potential as an alternative to plastic, she began exploring other plant fibers and their unique properties, eventually creating Eco Max Brushes.

Today, Eco Max makes brushes for the kitchen, bath and home using 100% natural plant fibers such as coconut, sisal and jute, paired with responsibly sourced timbers. Designed as practical alternatives to conventional plastic brushes, the collection brings together renewable materials, thoughtful design and everyday function. At the end of their useful life, the brushes can be composted to biodegrade naturally.

Eco Max brushes are handmade by women in Sri Lanka, where the company supports sustainable employment, fair wages and working conditions designed to help women care for their families while earning an independent income. Registered with The Vegan Society, the collection reflects Eco Max’s commitment to considering the entire life cycle of its products—from the materials used and the people who make them to what happens after their useful life.
